High Court Judge Justice Kossy Bor directed the Transport Ministry to construct free toilets and sanitary facilities along highways for commuters. The sale of unit sales of all the high-end brands including Porsche, Land Rover and Mercedes fell to 142 in the review period compared to 273 the previous year. This is a 47.9 percent drop, mostly attributed to franchise and supply chain disruptions in the industry according to the Kenya Motor Industry Association (KMI). A new study by the ministry of health has revealed that half of hospitals in Kenya failed expired drug test, opening the lid to a rotten health sector. According to the Kenya Harmonised Health Facility Assessment report for 2018/19, the affected hospitals do not regularly remove expired or unusable medicine from the shelves. The research also found out that drug outlets in Nairobi, Nyeri, Migori and Garissa were the worst in keeping records of drugs received, dispensed and expired. The International Court of Justice (ICC) has refuted claims by Deputy President William Ruto that his case concerning 2007/8 post election violence (PEV) is being re-opened. A Jericho pistol stolen two years ago from a senior officer based at police headquarters in Nairobi has been linked to 15 robberies. The gun, serial number KE KP 44333721, was reported to have been stolen from the officer on March 24, 2018.
