The government has announced Total Kenya’s Director of Strategy Dr Macharia Irungu as the managing director of the Kenya Pipeline Corporation (KPC). Irungu, 53, is also a Commissioner at the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA), where he has been fighting litigation for being and industry player, and at the same time a regulator. The cost of living (inflation rate) went up from 4.95 percent in the month of October to 5.56 in November. Safaricom has inked a deal with the Postal Corporation of Kenya (Posta Kenya) for the MPost service to roll out digital Post Office Boxes to more than 5 million customers across the country. Twitter has suspended its planned deletion of inactive accounts after a public outcry, since some of the accounts belong to deceased people and count as a memory to the living.
