Real estate company Rama Homes has announced the launch of a mixed use commercial complex in Kilimani area, Nairobi. The 20-storey building will entail three and four bedroom apartments with a seven-year payment plan. Each unit will cost approximately Ksh19 million. Rama Towers, the name of the new building, will cost Ksh6 billion to complete, and construction will start in the next two months. “This is one of our mega projects, and will take at most three years to be complete,” said Adrash Hussein, assistant general manager for Rama Homes. The story in Turkana has changed from drought to flooding, at the onset of long rains which have delayed by over a month. An example is a section of Kakuma-Lokichogio road that flooded early this morning following heavy downpour, paralysing transport for hours. Britam CEO Benson Wairegi is not seated pretty after it emerged that his bosses are deliberating on showing him the door over ‘silly’ mistakes made in the past five years. Samson Ontiri, a sugarcane farmer from Nyabera Village in Gucha Sub-county filed a case demanding millions in compensation from Sony Sugar in December 2017. On October 14, 2015, the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) and Greenstar Systems Limited signed an agreement for the refurbishment and customization of six floors of the KICC Tower Block Offices in readiness for the World Trade Organization Conference that was scheduled to be held in Nairobi, Kenya later that year. An unofficial street car racing in Namanga border between Kenyans and Tanzanians turned tragic today, with eight people dying in a clash that involved two cars.
