Deacons Kenya Limited customers can now pay for their goods using M-PESA service. This follows a partnership agreement signed between communications company Safaricom and a Kenyan leading lifestyle company, Deacons Kenya Limited. Dubbed Nunua na M-PESA, the service will be the second on the M-PESA Buy Goods menu after a similar agreement was signed with supermarket giants Uchumi and Naivas late last year. After the Twitter launch of partnership where you can now send and receive tweets through Safaricom SMS, Safaricom immediately launched a promotion without sending a release or informing the media at the yesterday’s presser that you will be able to send and receive unlimited tweets in a day just by subscribing to the service. It will only cost you Ksh 10 per day. I just find the twitter SMS annoying but I know many who dont have smart phones and would like to enjoy tweeting.
