Dell is looking to have business consumer targeted Tablet computers by the end of the year. This came out in the announcement made yesterday in a post on Dell’s website. Google has launched the Young Minds competition to reward innovation at a tender age. Young Minds is a space for the young people to share how they are making a positive change in the world through innovative idea. Google expects to find twelve 18-24 year olds who will win a chance to attend a special programme of events and masterclasses held alongside this year’s Zeitgeist 2011 in May. Essar Telecom Kenya (Yu) has signed a deal with Young & Rubicam Brands that consolidates all marketing communications activity behind the yu brand. Wunderman, a subsidiary of Young & Rubicam Brands has handled yu’s digital advertising presence since it launched two years ago. Speaking at the contract signing event, yu CEO Atul Chaturvedi commented, “We expect to see our brand grow as all our communication efforts will now be consolidated under one group – yu is a young, vibrant brand and we are looking forward to experiencing the expertise that Young & Rubicam brings to the table”.

Specific terms and conditions of the agreement were not disclosed. Safaricom has launched a new service that allows M-PESA customers to transfer money from their accounts to a I&M Bank’s Visa Pre-Paid card.The partnership between Safaricom and I&M Bank was signed at Safaricom headquarters today.
