Police are investigating an incident where a man was shot and injured during a confrontation with police at a market in Matungu, Kakamega County. Police on patrol said they spotted two motorcycles being ridden with two pillion passengers each moving around the market suspiciously. Detectives are investigating an incident where a man was found dead after being shot by unknown assailants in Murukutwa location at Chesogoch centre, Elgeyo Marakwet. Police said they found the body of Boniface Ingote, 40 with three gunshot wounds, lying lifeless in a room, at the back of a motorcycle spare shop, where he had been employed as a mechanic.
