The Employment and Labour Relations Court issued a permanent injunction barring the National Police Service Commission from taking part in the recruitment process. In her ruling the Judge Hellen Wasilwa stated NPSC has no powers to recruit, assign or deploy officers. A man attacked and killed his girlfriend in a domestic fight in Kasarani area, Nairobi. The assailant is first said to have attacked the woman identified as Yvonne Munywoki, 21, using an axe before he tried to set the house on fire on Wednesday October 29, 2025 evening . An Australian teenager has died after a cricket ball hit him during a practice session in Melbourne. Ben Austin, 17, was training in cricket nets in Ferntree Gully on Tuesday when he was struck in the head or neck by a ball from an automatic bowling machine. It’s believed he was wearing a helmet. Police in Magadi, Kajiado County are investigating the murder of a 28-year-old woman in an attack on her farm.
