Zambia’s High Court has ordered the seizure of assets worth more than $1.3m (£923,000) from Dalitso Lungu, the son of former President Edgar Lungu. A 40-year-old woman was electrocuted as she hanged wet clothes on a line outside her house in Otamba village, Kisii County. Police and locals said Gladys Nyanchama Motari was electrocuted while hanging clothes at her home. Preliminary findings had shown the main low-lying electric cable was swung by winds and touched the clothes line as the woman was hanging the clothes. This caused the electrocution.
