The body of former Treasury official Tom Osinde who went missing on June 18 has been discovered in River Kuja in Migori. Osinde was last seen as he was leaving his Nakuru home for Kisii. Two workers at the deceased’s Ngata home in Nakuru have since been arrested in connection with his disappearance. One of the detainees is Osinde’s driver who was allegedly seen driving his Toyota V8 in Nyamira and to the place where it was found by the police. Bunge la Wananchi President Calvin Okoth alias Gaucho has been hospitalised. Gaucho was allegedly attacked by unknown people on Tuesday on his way to an Azimio la Umoja rally at Kamukunji Grounds. “Yesterday I was attacked by unknown group of armed men on my way to the Kamukunji rally but I thank God I was able to escape after sustaining serious injuries. A former Treasury official Tom Fred Mokaya Osinde has been reported missing. Mr Osinde is said to have gone missing on June 17. He was traveling from Nakuru and was headed to Kisii, the family said. His nephew Emanuel tweeted, “My uncle Tom Mokaya Osinde is missing. His car registration number KBZ 900R, a black Land Cruiser, was found vandalized in Kilgoris.
