Rally driver Maxine Wahome is set to be charged with the murder of her boyfriend, Asad Khan. Khan who was also a rally driver died on December 18, 2022, after sustaining serious injuries a few days earlier. State Prosecutor James Gachoka forwarded the case file to the High Court following the conclusion of the investigations. The Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has officially summoned former Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiang’i. Officer Mishack delivered the summons issued by Senior Superintendent Michael Sang to his attorney Danstan Omari at the Milimani Law Court. Omari signed the summons after receiving it at 1:15 p.m., noting that he was served in court against his will. Officials are looking into an incident where a patient at the Kenyatta National Hospital took their own life after being admitted. Timothy Kinuthia, 22, was reportedly in ward 7B on the hospital’s 7th level when he leaped to the ground floor and died on the spot.
