Eight individuals have been charged with stealing Sh449.6 million from NCBA bank through its overdraft service, Fuliza. Two others were released after the court determined that they were not involved in the theft. Nairobi doctors on Monday held peaceful demonstrations over their medical benefits, disrupting medical services in some public health institutions. The medics claimed that the county had not provided them with comprehensive medical coverage since July 2022. Privatizing state-owned businesses might generate Sh30 billion in annual revenue, the Parliamentary Budget Office (PBO) has said. According to PBO’s assessment, the government might reduce debt vulnerabilities by closing state-owned businesses that are losing money.
