A Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) officer is pointing fingers to the Jubilee Insurance company for failing to compensate him after he was shot on his leg while in a mission in Somalia in May 2017. KDF officers have been insured by the Jubilee Insurance since 2011 until the contract was terminated in 2018, leaving out several soldiers who sustained injuries or died within that period uncompensated. Leading supermarket Naivas is not interested in donating anything to the COVID 19 fund but instead wants its clients to donate towards the kitty. Recently, there has been a debate about the number of Intensive Care Unit (ICU) beds in the country, in the wake of Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Currently, there are 518 ICU beds in the country, with most of them (247) being in Nairobi County.
