Uganda’s President Yoweri Museveni once again has shown his detest for imbibing and alcohol. Migori county government loses Sh800million annually, which is more than entire county health department budget due to poor sanitation in the county. The major cause of the loss is diseases caused by lack of proper toilets in homesteads and untreated water supply to the residents, experts have said. Approximately 9,545 adolescents got infected by HIV/AIDs in the four lake region Counties in the year 2015 while 771 from the same counties died of AIDs related complications. This is according to a report by National Aids Control Council (NACC) in conjunction with United Nations International Children Emergency Fund (UNICEF). The four counties, that is Migori, Homabay, Kisumu and Siaya contributed to 53percent of the total national new infections amongst adolescents aged 10-19 years in the same year. Police in India have detained a 34 year old man who stole 120 television sets from hotels within four months, according to officials.Vasudev Nanaiah booked into budget hotels in states across southern India with oversized bags to put the televisions in when he left.
