In a post shared on social media, the Hot 96 FM presenter remembered his brother noting that he will be missed. “Farewell, my Brother! We LOVED you but God LOVED you MORE!! Two Kenyan pilots and an engineer working with DAC Aviation (EA) LTD are crying for help after the employer abandoned them in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) with little support to sustain them. The three, Captain Isaac Newton Wafula Ouma, First Officer Cornelius Ndeche Oluoch and Engineer Simon Peter Kuruga, are currently held up in a hotel in DRC over six months unpaid bills. Tanzania’s Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (TCRA) has today fined internet service provider (ISP) Raha Limited Ksh 600 million (TSh 11.8 billion) for going against the communications regulations and reportedly using frequencies 1452-1482MHz without a valid license from the regulator. Raha Limited was fined a further Ksh 2 million (TSh 40 million) for failing to provide internet service, not submitting financial statements, failing to submit annual human resource plan and failing to re-apply for their expired license in time.
