Jubilee Party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) has resolved to hold a Special National Delegates Convention (SNDC) at KICC on July 22. “A notice convening the SNDC will be sent out in due course as required by the party constitution,” said the former ruling party. Former Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu did not show up for his graft case hearing over reports that he collapsed. His lawyer, John Swaka, informed Magistrate Thomas Nzioki that the former county boss collapsed at his home on Sunday and was rushed to the hospital. Kenya has closed its mission in Khartoum, Sudan, over the alleged targeting of diplomatic missions in the war-torn country. Disc jockey Brownskin shared a video of his late wife, Sharon Njeri, ingesting a poisonous substance with his lover, the DCI has said. In a statement on Sunday, the DCI said the deejay who is legally known as Michael Macharia, shared the video with a girlfriend living abroad. Michael Macharia Njiiri was apprehended on Thursday at a popular Nairobi nightclub in connection with the death of his wife, Sharon Njeri. Njeri is said to have consumed a poisonous substance as DJ Brownskin watched and recorded the incident. She is said to have succumbed between the nights of July 29 and 30, 2022.
