Garbage contractors in Nairobi County have complained over unpaid dues claiming Governor Mike Sonko has refused to pay them terming them as ‘fraudsters’. The contractors claim that when Sonko held a meeting with them upon ascent to office, they raised the issue of payment and he promised to look into the matter and pay them as soon as possible. Police at Mwariki police station in Nakuru have been accused of soliciting for sexual favours from a 19 year before releasing her. International Monetary Fund (IMF) has appointed Nancy Asiko Onyango as Director of the Fund’s Office of Internal Audit and Inspection (OIA). Through its Managing Director Christine Lagarde, IMF said Ms. Onyango, will succeed Clare Brady, who left the Fund earlier this Fall. Her appointment will take effect in February 2018. Director of Public Prosecution Keriako Tobiko has directed the Director Of Criminal Investigations to release NASA Strategist and Economist David Ndii on police bond pending investigations.
