Director of Public Prosecution Keriako Tobiko has directed the Director Of Criminal Investigations to release NASA Strategist and Economist David Ndii on police bond pending investigations. Further, DPP has directed that once investigations are completed, the resultant inquiry file be forwarded to the ODPP for appropriate directions. A crackdown on illegal expatriates in Saudi Arabia’s capital of Riyadh saw 100 Kenyans arrested. Police and other security personnel conducted raids in various estates and ‘rest houses’ where 100 Kenyans mostly found with alcohol which is prohibited in the kingdom were arrested. Atheists In Kenya have come out to defend prostitutes in Nairobi following a law by city mcas seeking to have the trade banned. Led by AIK chairman Harrison Mumia, the association has come out to defend prostitution saying it is no way illegal as long as the people involved in the practice are two consenting adults. Property of unknown value has been gutted down by a 5.30 am fire that broke at a store at the Department of Defence (DoD) headquarters in Hurlingham,Nairobi. The Monday morning incident is said to have been caused by electric fault, no one was reported injured. Doctors at Thika Level Five hospital have removed 13 sewing needles from the body of a10-month-old baby. The baby had been admitted at the hospital for pneumonia and her mother while applying jelly on the baby was pricked by a needle lodged inside the baby. She then alerted the doctors and an X-ray revealed the hoard of needles inside the baby’s body prompting an operation which has been largely successful.
