Kenya’s COVID-19 caseload is now at 75,193 after 1,048 tested positive in the last 24 hours. This was after a sample size of 8,660 was tested. From the cases, 1,018 are Kenyans and 30 are foreigners. Ideally, 594 are males and 454 are females. The youngest is a one-year-old baby while the oldest is 90. A boat that has Capsized in Usenge beach, Siaya County has left 10 people dead and several others missing. This has been confirmed by Siaya County Police Boss Francis Kooli who indicated that the boat was ferrying goods from Uganda with approximately 20 people on board. A UK study has revealed that mouthwash can kill COVID-19 within 30 seconds of exposure in a laboratory. According to the New York Post, the research was conducted at Cardiff University where it was indicated that over-the-counter mouthwashes that contain least 0.07 percent cetypyridinium chloride (CPC) showed promising signs of destroying the virus when exposed in lab testing.
