President Uhuru Kenyatta has appointed Lukoye Atwoli to chair Mathari Hospital Board and will serve for three years. This appointment comes in wake of various changes instituted by the Head of State that saw former IEBC commissioners given top jobs. Kenya has confirmed 602 COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours after testing 5,618 samples. The country’s caseload is now at 43,143. Of the new cases, 585 are Kenyans and 17 are foreigners. Police authorities in Siaya are probing a suicide angle in a case that a teacher at Maranda High went missing 6 days ago. The teacher identified as Kevin Otieno Ongoma, aged 33 had served in the school for five years before mysteriously going missing. Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has accused an officer from the Nairobi Metropolitan Services (NMS) of using military tactics to steal documents from City Hall.
