Two suspected thieves have been arrested in Kisumu County and 81 assorted mobile phones recovered. The suspects have been identified as Daniel Chimota aged 28 years and Samuel Yassin aged 27 years. Kenya has confirmed 114 new COVID-19 infections within the last 24 hours, the tally now jumps to 34,315. This was after 1,682 samples were tested. Speaking during the daily COVID-19 briefings, Health CAS Rashid Aman further announced that there are no deaths reported. On a better note, 318 more have recovered bringing the number of recoveries to 20,211. Out of the recoveries, 263 were from home-based care while 55 from hospitals. Kenya has confirmed 164 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, ministry of health has announced. This was after testing a 3,009 sample size pushing the toll to 33,794. In a statement, the ministry reported 156 recoveries, bringing the number of recoveries to 19,590. Five other patients have succumbed. The death toll has a result shot to 572. Detectives have arrested six officials from Malindi National Government Constituency Development Fund over alleged embezzlement of Sh20 Million public funds.
