A new twist into the shooting of Lamu Senator Anwar Loitiptip’s father has been explained by Laikipia County Police Commander Maxwell Nyaema. Three people disguised as Citizen TV journalists have been arrested while trying to interview former Naivasha MP John Mututho. The impersonators have been identified as one female and two males who allegedly traveled all the way from Nairobi County. The Communication Authority of Kenya (CA) has initiated a mobile messaging service for the verification of genuine mobile phones in Kenya. Through a notice by the Acting Director-General Mercy Wanjau on Tuesday, to identify whether your phone is genuine or not you re expected to dial *#06# on the mobile device to display its international mobile equipment identifier number (IMEI). A chief lost his life in a tragic road accident along Nairobi-Mombasa Highway after the motorcycle he was driving in was hit by a vehicle driven by a senior police boss. Five people have been reported dead on Saturday, May 2020 after the boat they were traveling in capsized in River Nzoia. K24 reports that the incident took place at Sango area in Asere Village in Umala Sub-Location, Central Ugenya in Siaya County. 84-year-old Felicien Kabuga, a suspect in the 1994 Rwanda Genocide has been arrested in Paris according to the reports by the French Judicial Ministry. Star reports that Kabuga was living under a false identity in a flat in Asnieres-Sur-Seine, near Paris before his arrest on Saturday, May 16, 2020. Former Machakos Senator Johnson Muthama has asked President Uhuru to refrain from changing the constitution to stay in power. Hundreds of families in Ruai have been left homeless and were forced to sleep in the cold following night demolitions by the government. According to reports on social media, the demolitions commenced at night, around 10 PM  where families including children were thrown out in the rain, and some of their properties destroyed.
