A 53-year-old woman and her daughter, aged 24 years have been confirmed as the new cases of Coronavirus in Algeria hence making the number at 3. It is established that the pair, had hosted a father and his daughter who tested positive for the virus having arrived from France. A Chinese national who was abducted by unknown people at China Centre, along Ngong Road on Thursday has been rescued by the Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI). Following the kidnap, the matter had been reported to the DCI by the Chairman of Kenya Chinese Chamber of Commerce, William Zituo and investigations were started. The Chinese Embassy in Kenya has reassured Kenyans that all its 239 passengers that landed at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) were screened adding that they would not dare bring Coronavirus into the country. Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Peter Munya has indicated that the government has so far spent Sh230 million in eradicating locusts.
