President Uhuru Kenyatta has nominated Margaret Nyakango as the new controller of budget. Nyakango is expected to replace Agnes Odhiambo whose 8 year tenure came to an end in August, after being appointed on 27, August 2011. The role of a budget controller in Kenya is to foresee government financial operations within the country including counties. The Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) has lifted the provisional suspension of the Silverstone Air Dash 8 Series Aircraft operations imposed on November 12, 2019. In an oath ceremony administered before house speaker Justin Muturi by National Assembly Clerk Michael Sialai, Imran was accompanied to the dais by Jubilee Party nominated MP Maina Kamanda. Husband and key suspect in the murder case of 25 year old has been found dead, allegedly by hanging. According to Nakuru County Police Commander Stephen Matu, the suspect Joseph Muchiri was found dead on Tuesday November 2019, in Mau, Narok. Mr Matu also noted that next to the body was a suicide note. Kenya Power has scrapped off afternoon tea for its staff to enforce cost saving measures as tough times loom. Through a statement on Monday, the management stated that beginning December 1, the staff will no longer enjoy afternoon tea and called upon the team to cooperate. “Management continues to implement a raft of measures to manage various costs addresses are hereby notified that the provision of afternoon tea services shall be suspended,” said David Monandi, the current acting General Manager.
