The Director of Criminal Investigation (DCI) George Kinoti was today engaged in a heated argument with MPs over stalled case involving a sex tape that leaked last year, allegedly belonging to Wajir Woman Rep Fatma Gedi. Kinoti had been summon by the Legal and Justice Parliamentary Committee to shed more light of letters addressed to four Members of Parliament who were linked to leaked tape. Uganda Airlines has commenced its direct flights to Kenya, with the first flight landing at the Moi International Airport from Entebbe. The maiden flight has successfully landed, with 76 passengers on board and a full working crew. The employment and labour relations court has extended the suspension of Mary Wambui’s appointment as Chairperson National Employment Authority (NEA). This is according to Justice Stephen Radido in response to Mary Wambui’s lawyer who stated that the former legislator is yet to be served with court papers. Education Cabinet Secretary Professor George Magoha has declared war on examinations cheating across the country. Magoha stated that the Education Ministry had put up stringent measures to ensure examination cheating is curbed, with those caught in the act expected to suffer serious consequences. Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) has banned the use of drones within the country, with a stern warning sent to violators who will be sentenced to one year in jail or risk fine of up to Sh100,000.
