Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua has dismissed claims that the tax woes facing Keroche Breweries are politically instigated. Out of the 26 bodies retrieved from River Yala, 11 have been positively identified by families and collected for burial, Gem Deputy Commissioner Mosero Chacha has confirmed. A Police Inspector in Kajiado is on the spot for assaulting a bar attendant at Rimpa Shopping Centre. The officer identified as Inspector Kenneth Nyabete Bosire reportedly slapped a bar attendant at a popular drinking den in 2021.
