Security at the Kenya-Somali border has been heightened following the foiled abduction of 40 worshippers in a local mosque in the region. This comes a day after Al-Shabaab militants attacked a local mosque in Wajir County and almost abducted 40 worshippers. The assault case involving the Ndichu brothers, Murgor sisters has taken a new twist after the Directorate Public Prosecution (DPP) ordered the prosecution of the sisters. Laikipia Woman Representative Cate Waruguru is being probed for allegedly assaulting a woman during DP William Ruto’s rally in Laikipia on Tuesday.
