The Covid-19 positivity rate in Kenya is now at 7.9% as 108 people contracted the virus in the last 24 hours. This was after a sample size of 1,366 was tested. Of the new cases,96 are Kenyans while 12 are foreigners. 59 are males and 49 are females with the youngest being a two-month-old while the oldest is 116 years old. James Njenga, the man who perished in the Nairobi-Expressway accident was laid to rest on Friday in Kiambu County. Njenga was laid to rest at his parents’ home. Several people are feared dead following a ghastly accident at Miti Mbili, Turbo town. The accident involved two PSV matatus and two trailers. Confirming the same, Uasin Gishu police boss Ayub Gitonga said a Nissan matatu first rammed into a lorry that was heading to Webuye. Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture Technology (JKUAT) has denied claims that two of its students took away their lives over missing marks. Yesterday, Kahawa Tungu reported that the body of a JKUAT student had been discovered in her apartment in Juja, Kiambu County.
