Two dormitories at Tengecha Girls High School have been burnt with property of unknown value destroyed after a Saturday morning inferno. The incident has been confirmed by Daniel Kosgey, the Kapkatet location chief who further revealed that the cause of the fire is yet to be established. Molo Green Company Director Justus Metho Muinde is dead. Muinde was found dead inside his car along the Molo-Keringet road with police probing the circumstances surrounding his death. Kenya has announced 741 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours after 6,955 samples were tested. The country’s caseload is now at 181,239. Kenya has announced 622 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours after 6,236 samples were tested. The country’s caseload is now at 180,498. This brings Kenya’s Covid-19 positivity rate to 10.0% with the cumulative tests so far conducted now at 1,920,018. Sadly, 30 patients have succumbed to the virus bringing the cumulative fatalities in the country to 3,514.
