Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe has announced that the COVID-19 vaccination will officially start on Friday, March 5, 2021. According to the CS, the target group for the first batch of the vaccine will be the 400,000 health workers in the country. Senate Speaker Kenneth Lusaka has directed that the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) Bill be introduced in the house for its first reading on Thursday, March 4, 2021. This resolution, according to the speaker was arrived at after a meeting was held earlier today by the Senate Business Committee. Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has stated that it will take dire actions against its staffer, Tabitha Mutemi for taking up a role by the Media Council of Kenya (MCK).
