Lawyer James Orengo

National Super Alliance (NASA) lawyer and Siaya Senator James Orengo on Monday said that election material used during the August 8 election could have been printed in Kenya.

While making his submissions, Orengo pointed out that some forms lacked security features such as the bar codes, an indication that they could have been locally printed and not by the Dubai based Al-Ghurair firm.

The Siaya legislator also questioned the forms 34A and 34B submitted to the court by the IEBC.

Orengo said that some of the forms were forgeries. He also added that the forms presented before the Supreme Court of Kenya lacked water marks that are only visible under a Ultra Violet Light (UV light) and anti copy features.

NASA was this morning granted access to read-only information on the IEBC servers.
