Prominent Personalities In Barrack Obama’s 350 Delegation To Kenya

Barrack Obama, Wuod K’Ogelo, Siaya County is expected to visit the country in July for a day’s visit before proceeding to South Africa to deliver the Nelson Mandela Annual Lecture which will take place on 17 July, 2018 at the Wanderers Cricket Ground, Corlett Drive, Illivo.

Reports emerging reveal that the former US President will be coming to the country with a 350 people delegation, including professionals, celebrities, philanthropists, clergy, activists, top lawyers, businessmen, diplomats and friends.

The delegation includes renowned talk show host, Oprah Winfrey, Africa’s richest man Aliko Dangote, Zimbabwean Musician Oliver Mtukudzi, Senegalese musician and philanthropist Akon, NBA Africa senior Director, Will Mbiakop.

The delegation will also be part of his event in South Africa.

Barrack is expected to meet with President Uhuru Kenyatta at State House before proceeding to K’ogelo, where his sister, Auma Obama will launch her Non- Governmental Organization, Sauti Kuu, in Siaya County.

The former President, together with his delegation, is also expected to be hosted by Siaya Governor, Cornell Rasanga.

This will be Barrack’s first visit to Kenya since he left office on 20 January, 2017, for a tightly scheduled one-day visit.
