The Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) taskforce has postponed BBI rallies to allow Kenyans mourn the death of former President Daniel Arap Moi, with new dates set to be announced later.

In a press statement signed by Paul Mwangi, the taskforce joint secretary stated that the rally dates would be announced soon.

“The steering Committee on the implementation of the Building Bridges to a united Kenya task force report wishes to announce the postponement of the scheduled public engagements which had been advertised. This is in honour of the late former president of the Republic of Kenya his Excellency Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi,” a statement signed by joint secretary Paul Mwangi said on Tuesday.

This follows an earlier proclamation by the Senate majority leader Kipchumba Murkomen who alluded that the Tanga tanga brigade had suspended its Nakuru rally scheduled for February 8, 2020.
