Nasa leaders have this evening revived hope of supporters saying they are on course for liberation.

The leaders were speaking in Kibra where they had gone to condole with families of their supporters who lost their lives and to sympathize with those who were injured during confrontation with police and day after Raila Odinga’s return abroad.

Led by Homabay women MP Gladys Wanga, the leaders said they are not ready for any discourse with Jubilee unless it is pegged on a free and fair election.

She said Nasa will hold a major fundraising on Friday to help cater for hospital bills of those injured and funeral services of those who lost their lives during the melee.

They reiterated that if Uhuru Kenyatta is sworn in then NASA will also swear in Odinga and further rejected any seat even as other leaders call for the position of Prime Minister to end political stalemate.

Busia Woman Rep Florence Mutua said Odinga’s supporters are ready to go back to the airport and receive him from his Zanzibar visit.

“When evil people are in power, the people suffer,”  Mutua said.

Mbita MP Millie Odhiambo threw shade at Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko an warned him against “paying hospital bills and claiming to feed our people after killing them,” adding that “Sonko should not play politics with the lives of our people.”
