Body of woman found on farm with stab wounds in Ongata Rongai

Detectives are investigating the murder of a woman whose body was found lying on a farm in Ongata Rongai, Kajiado County.
The body was discovered on September 29, 2025, by a man who was jogging around the farm.
The man told police he was on a morning physical fitness exercise when he spotted the body lying there.
Police were called and confirmed the body was of a female aged about 30 and lay in a ditch.
The body had stab wounds in the head and bruises on the stomach and legs consistent with dragging on on a rough surface.
Police said the woman was killed elsewhere and the body dumped at the scene. The motive of the murder is yet to be established, police said.
She was wearing a red and black jumper, red top but her lower body was naked.
Police said her pants and blue jean trousers were left hanging on her left leg.
The body was moved to the mortuary pending an identification and autopsy. No arrest has been made so far, police said on Tuesday.
Elsewhere in Ngoswani, Narok County, a man was found murdered in his farm, police said.
The man identified as Micah Lotiken, 25 was a herder, police said after visiting the scene.
It was established that the body lay in a shallow pit within the farm and was covered with a blanket and dry cow dung.
The motive was not immediately known.
Police said the body had a deep cut on the forehead and multiple swollen blister wounds on the upper anatomy inflicted by a blunt object.
The deceased also appeared to have been strangled using a wire that was found tied around his neck.
Police said they recovered a metal club, a walking stick with blood stains and other exhibits from the scene of the murder before moving the body to the mortuary pending an autopsy.
