Former Presidential candidate Abduba Dida has advised the government to bomb the warehouses where the contraband sugar is being stored.

He stated that the longer the contaminated sugar stayed in the warehouses the easier it would be to be sold into the market.

Mwalimu Dida said that the sugar should first be destroyed before trying to determine who was responsible for its entry into the country.

What happened to bombing illegal goods? Did we not bomb a ship that was carrying coccain? Why can't we bomb the warehouses containing the illegal sugar first then look for those responsible? The more the sugar stays in those warehouses the more it finds its way into our drinks.

CS Matiang’i recently divulged that sugar was not the only commodity in the market that is contaminated with mercury, lead or copper.

He however stated that the contraband sugar would be destroyed next week.
