A three-year-old boy died after he fell off from the seventh floor of an apartment in Kware, Embakasi, Nairobi.

The incident happened on Saturday December 20 evening at Sweet House Apartment.

The boy was a Tanzanian. He was playing with other children when he fell off. He was rushed to the hospital where he succumbed to the injuries.

The body was moved to the mortuary pending an autopsy and other procedures. Such accidents have been common in estates amid calls for care among guardians and parents.

Elsewhere in Mbiuni, Mwala, Machakos County, a 43-year-old man was electrocuted as he tried to pump water from a well in the area.

Police said Wambua Musau was busy connecting wires to pump the water when he was electrocuted on Saturday morning.

Police and Kenya Power and Lighting officers visited the scene and helped to move the body to the mortuary pending an autopsy and investigations.

In Nairobi’s Kayole area, a man was found dead on a seat in a hotel.

Police said the deceased identified as Victor Ochieng Kitoto, 30 was among a group that had visited the hotel for a party when his body was found.

After the party ended, everyone left on Friday midnight while Kitoto was sleeping on the seat.

His body was discovered Saturday morning by cleaners at the facility.

The body was moved to the mortuary pending an autopsy and investigations, police said.

And police in Busia arrested a man for trafficking two young boys aged 16 and 15.

The man was wanted for human trafficking. He was detained pending interrogation and possible arraignment. The two boys from Moyale said they were informed they were headed for Europe through Uganda.

The case is under probe, police said.
