The Bunge la mwananchi has sworn in their people’s president Henry Shikanda at the Jevanjee gardens
The group that is known from discussing political issues informally claim that the NASA coalition stole their idea on the people’s assembly.
The inauguration happens just a day after Raila Odinga declared that his swearing in is still on course and that he was not committing any crime by being sworn in as the people’s president.
Henry Shikanda was sworn in alongside his cabinet by a commissioner of oaths. Mr Skinda said that there will be no other people’s president. He said that Bunge la mwananchi was not affiliated to either jubilee or NASA.

Henry Shikanda also clarified that his presidency was only limited to the members of the group and that Bunge la mwananchi was law abiding and adhered to the Kenyan constitution.
Raila Odinga and the NASA coalition while speaking at a funeral for 16 accident victims of Kamukuywa accident said that the steering committed for the swearing in would give a way forward for the coalition on December 24,2017.
