Kisumu residents supporting National Super Alliance (NASA) have staged protests in the city and are calling for the removal from office of IEBC officials believed to have cost Raila Odinga the presidency.
Odinga called for demonstrations countrywide on Mondays and Fridays up until the officials resign.
In Kondele, protesters are said to have thrown stones at the police who have dispersed the growing crowd with teargas.
The officers are said to have at some point run out of teargas and were forced to retreat.
There will be demos in Nairobi, led by Odinga and his co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka. Security is tight in the CBD as the Nairobi Business Community and the NASA supporters are set to clash.
