
The Director of Public Prosecution Noordin Haji has asked for an apology from the Nation Media Group after they posted a story claiming that he said that he would bring down the high and mighty through graft charges.
In the article published on the Nation Media’s digital platform the author claimed that they had a telephone conversation with the DPP Haji who uttered those words.
In the article, the daily says that Haji is after close to 130 government officials and businesspeople who will have to pay for their alleged crimes.
The DPP however claims that he did not have a telephone conversation with any person from the media house . He also said that he did utter the aforementioned words in any of the press releases that came from the office of the DPP.
He has asked for an explanation of the article that was published on September 3.
