During his youth, White split his time between Las Vegas and Maine. He developed an early passion for sports, particularly boxing, and has long been a fan of the Boston Red Sox baseball team. White graduated from Hermon High School in 1987.

Early Career

White briefly attended the University of Massachusetts, though he did not complete his degree. During this time, he started a boxing program for at-risk youth and worked as an aerobics instructor to support himself.

After relocating to Las Vegas, White launched Dana White Enterprises in 1992. He began managing fighters, including Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz, which eventually introduced him to the world of mixed martial arts.

While managing fighters, White discovered that the UFC’s parent company, Semaphore Entertainment Group, was struggling financially. He informed his childhood friend Lorenzo Fertitta, who quickly recognized the opportunity.

After demolishing the original houses, White built a large custom mega-mansion where he currently resides with his family.
