Retired President Daniel Arap Moi has turned 94 years old today.
President Moi ruled Kenya for 24 years after the death of the first President, Mzee Jomo Kenyatta in 1978.
He retired from active politics in 2002 but has still played a role in the background.
The former president has lately been hosting different leaders at his Kabarak home and many assume that leaders are visiting him to prepare for the 2022 general elections.
Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho wished him a happy birthday, praising him for playing a key role in fostering peace, love and unity among Kenyans.
