The director Public Prosecution has approved the charges leveled against NHIF CEO George Mwangi and the finance director Wilber Kurgat.
The two have been charged with conspiracy to obstruct justice and disobedience of orders. Geoffrey Mwangi and the finance director Wilbert Kurgat have been arrested by officers from the Directorate of criminal.

The two were summoned to the DCI headquarters and arrested upon arrival. They are accused of obstructing investigation on corruption at the parastatal.
