Drama At City Hall As MCAs Try To Physically Eject Speaker Elachi

There was drama at City Hall after MCAs tried to physically eject speaker Beatrice Elachi out of the office.

They were heard  taunting at her to go. The MCAs broke the door to her office  as the asked for exit. The MCAs claim that the police sprayed pepper spray on them as they protested .

“Elachi Must go… Atoke” they were heard shouting

Ms Elachi was impeached last week on Wednesday after 103 MCAs voted against her. Sjhe was reinstated by the courts.

They claimed that the speaker abused her office and undermined the authority of the MCAs. The MCAs said that the court will not tell them how to run the business of the county.

The leader of majority said that the speaker was lawfully elect.
