Career
Redmayne began his acting career on stage, where he honed his skills in various productions.
After graduating from the University of Cambridge with a degree in History of Art, he made his professional debut in Twelfth Night at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in 2002.
His early theater work also included performances in The Goat, or Who is Sylvia? and Edward II, showcasing his ability to tackle complex characters.
In 2009, Redmayne starred in the play Red, which tells the story of artist Mark Rothko.
