Presidential candidate Ekuru Aukot of the Third Way Alliance party has said he will go to court to seek clarification on the fresh elections order given by the court.
According to the lawyer the supreme court declared the presidential elections null and void and therefore all that vied for the said seat ought to be back in the ballot.

He said that the decision by the electoral body to bar the other candidates from participating in the fresh elections was because the body’s CEO and legal department ‘could not read the law.’

One of his followers advised the IEBC to correct and reconsider their announcement saying that the supreme court did not order for a run off.

While appearing on Citizen Tv’s Monday Special he said that for Kenya to have a credible election the IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati should resign as the court found him culpable as the first respondent.

The IEBC said that they would be conducting the fresh polls on 17th of October and that only the petitioner Raila Odinga and the 3rd respondent Uhuru Kenyatta will be allowed to vie .
