The bankers who acquired two star players from the dockers were keen to utilize their new signings to teach their Kenyan opponents a lesson or two in Basketball.

The two extremely experienced teams sailed through other East African teams landing in the finals. Both teams beat opponents from Rwanda, Uganda and Ethiopia in the preliminary stages of the competition.

Kenyan National team captain Hilda Indasi scored a game high of 22 points sending shivers down the dockers who were unable to stop the experienced Indasi.
