Gor Mahia’s appearance in the SportPesa Trophy game at Goodison Park comes following K’Ogalo’s victory in the SportPesa Super Cup final in June where they beat Simba SC of Tanzania at the Afraha Stadium, Nakuru.
Everton travelled to Tanzania in July 2017 to face inaugural SportPesa Super Cup winners Gor Mahia in a game the Blues won 2-1.

Gor have already secured the 2018 Kenyan Premier League title for a record 17th time and will use the friendly to prepare for next season.
The team reach the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup for the first time this year but missed the quarter-finals by a whisker.
The coach Dylan Kerr’s side will return to the continental scene where they will represent Kenya in the CAF Champions starting later this year.
