    Eye Witness Daniel Muigai Ngengi Jailed For Impersonation

    A court in Kwale has jailed the famous eye witness Dennis Muigai Ngengi has been jailed for one and a half years for impersonation.

    He claimed to have witnessed two high profile crashes in a span of one week. He witnessed  the Nakuru plane crash which ferrying the Senators Susan Kihika communication team where he had claimed he was a state pilot. He later witnessed the car crash of Nyeri governor Wahome Gakuru where he claimed to be part of the first people to be at the scene.

    Daniel Muigai Ngengi was wanted in Kwale after he jumped bail for impersonating a Kenya army officer in 2014.

    The man caused an online stir with Kenyans suspecting that he was a police officer. The inspector general distanced the national police service from the man saying that they wanted to confirm his identity but he was not one of them.
