Facebook Introduces New Safety to Curb Cyber Bullying and More

Facebook yesterday announced that it had relaunched its Safety Center which is the section of the social media site devoted users’ security.

Saying that it had multiplied times four the safety information available online while cleaning it and making it very easy to navigate.

Facebook says it has partnered with third parties who specialise in safety and security online to provide extra information aimed at protecting children from threats such as cyberbullying and sexual abuse.

The UK’s Child Exploitation and Online Protection (CEOP) Centre has been pushing the company to add a “panic button” for children under threat to every page for some time.
