The police have urged anyone affected by the scam to report to Parklands police station so that the rest of the suspects are nabbed.

“We have started investigations and we hope members of the public who have fallen victim to the cartels will help us with information. Meanwhile, we are looking for the other suspects,” Parklands Divisional Criminal Investigations Officer David Mr Chebii said.

The security office oat the hospital said that they had warned members of the general public against the fraudsters.

“Over the last year we have been chasing this group. On Friday, with the information we received and the help of CID, the residence of the main cartel member was raided and he and another accomplice were arrested,” Mr Robert Tack the safety and security officer at the Aga Khan hospital said.
